I was, but just awake
An evening of performances, music and visual art during Art Night 2019
Saturday 22 June 2019 at 202 Hoe Street
I was, but just awake explored the ways in which womxn collaboration can turn care and harmony into resistance, and how this has been interpreted by visual artists, writers, performers, musicians, designers and local community groups. I was, but just awake was the outcome of and trigger for a series of workshops with local communities in Waltham Forest coming to life as a performative event.
